EXTERNAL EVENTS

16th April - The BHS South West Wales committee is organising an evening demo by Heather Moffett, Classical Dressage Seat Trainer, of "Enlightened Equitation" at Aberystwyth, on 16th April 2010.

We are also hoping to hold a one day clinic at Celaeron Equestrian Centre ,Llanon , courtesy of Kelly and James Webb , on the 17th April 2010 Day and overnight stabling/ paddock can be arranged with Kelly. : kellouwebb@aol.com for further information On site cafe will be organising catering . Good facilities including Indoor/Outdoor school/parking /loos etc B&B available locally

Information about club events

Rallies are tuition sessions organised for all disciplines, or a combination of two or more. They can be private, shared or group lessons, it's completely up to you which you prefer. When booking in for a rally please call the organiser to let them know whether you require a group, shared or private lesson. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

To enable the club to run efficiently, rallies run on a pre-booking system. As much notice is needed to accommodate everybody. Please book in at least 5-6 days before the rally. We run a ‘credit' system for our rallies – you send our treasurer (Delyth) a cheque of say £30 in advance. Charges for any rallies you attend will be deducted from your credit. You can email Delyth at any time and she will let you know how much you have left in your kitty. Rallies are run to break even and make no profit.

Cancellations

Anyone cancelling less than 48 hours before the rally will be charged for the lesson unless you can find a replacement. The club cannot afford to pay for cancelled lessons. We do hope that we have your full co-operation with this, it is a club rule.

NB – Rallies at Furze Hill - there is a charge for use of the school at £5 plus £1 for lights (where applicable) per horse, paid directly to Val on the day. The cost of lesson to be paid to Treasurer in usual way, unless you are in credit.

Rallies at Hafod are charged at £5 pr hour for use of school, so this will be split between the group and will paid directly along with cost of instructor out of your kitty. You do not need to take any money with you on the day for rallies at Hafod.

CLINICS - If you are wanting to compete in area horse trials, these clinics are a great opportunity to get some training!
