ABOUT US

One of Cwm Derwen Riding Club's main aims when starting the club back in 2002 was to re-introduce people to the saddle (especially those mums and dads, whose children have grown out of their horses, gone to university or even left home and are now left looking after them!). As well as providing a relaxed atmosphere for people to learn, have fun and meet like minded people.

Rallies are tuition sessions organised for all disciplines, or a combination of two or more. They can be private, shared or group lessons, it's completely up to you which you prefer. When booking in for a rally please call the organiser to let them know whether you require a group, shared or private lesson. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

To enable the club to run efficiently, rallies run on a pre-booking system. As much notice is needed to accommodate everybody. Please book in at least 5-6 days before the rally. We run a ‘credit' system for our rallies – you sent our treasurer a cheque of say £30 in advance. The charge for any rallies your attend is deducted from your credit. Delyth our treasurer, will let you know by email how much credit you have left. Rallies are run to break even and make no profit.

Newsletter

The Riding Club doesn't run a newsletter as such, but aims to keep you all up to date through this website which we endeavour to update weekly. If you have any items etc to go onto the website please let Jane know by email on m.j.ashbridge@zen.co.uk as soon as possible.

If you do not have access to the internet or email please let the Secretary know when joining and send a supply of SAE's. The website diary dates can be sent to you at intervals.
